About Us
Since our grand opening in July of 2022, the STEMbassadors IDEA Center has established itself as a creative mecca on the historic Ventura Ave. We host a full spectrum of technical and artistic equipment from CNC routers to digital screen printing and strive to facilitate a flourishing creative environment where people can learn and master STEAM skills.
The IDEA Center is a community makerspace open to all skill levels and ages 10+. We offer access to tools like 3D printers, laser cutters, and embroidery machines with online guides, project tutorials, and regularly scheduled classes designed to teach you how to use the various tools available to you. For organizations we offer seasonal programs and camps like our 6 week entrepreneurship program hosted in partnership with WCDC. CLASSES $30.00
(Book online/Pay in-store)
Classes generally run between 30 and 90 minutes long with group sizes of between 2 and 6 people at a time. We have a wide variety of class options available, see our bookings and event pages below!
MEMBERSHIP
STANDARD $100/mo.
Our standard membership offers unlimited access to the IDEA Center during our listed hours, includes unlimited basic materials, free classes, and unlimited guidance made available both by our amazing volunteers and staff.
NIGHT OWL $50/mo.
The Night Owl membership is a discounted plan providing access only during our Night Owl hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays 3pm-9pm). During those times, Night Owl members have all the same benefits of the standard membership.
